When the super talented Samantha Slater asked me to collaborate with her to make masks to complement her jewelry designs, I immediately said yes! I've amassed quite a collection of her gorgeous jewelry.
I first heard of Samantha because we both sell our designs at Sassafras, a wonderful boutique in Belltown. I reached out to her when I needed a jewelry to create a custom ring with a loose opal that I've had sitting around for years. It was a joy to collaborate together on the ring design, and here was the stunning result!
Back to the masks - I whipped them up in 2 fabrics - a black and white batik and a geometric white/black print. Since masks are going to be part of our life for awhile, we might as well try to look cute right?
There are a few mask/jewelry combinations to choose from - find them all on Samantha's webshop. She makes all of her jewelry by hand here in Seattle.
I've definitely have honed my mask making skills this year, and I think I could practically do it in my sleep. I'm looking forward to the day when we don't have to wear them constantly, but until then, let's try to make the most if it, right?
Stay safe everyone!! XOXO
